WHERE IS FISHERMAN'S CABIN
? You can find it at the far end of the bay

|
|
A visit to 'Fisherman's Cabi'n is a
special occasion. Most customers enjoy the walk (full directions) through the olive groves (30-45 minutes
from Agios Georgios) but if intending to eat in the evening it is necessary to
bring a torch for the walk back on the rough track.
Some travel by car along the
track which is a bit rough in places and at times (particularly early season)
may NOT be passable at all. Follow the track beside the beach shown by a
red line. Drive slowly over any bumps or holes. At the end of the beach go
straight on past the 1st fish restaurant (Akrogiali or Bennie's) and
then keep straight on again into the olive groves. The track now wanders
through the olive groves (up one steep hill). Follow the signs on the trees and
enjoy the views until you see the hidden taverna down a steep track on your
right.
Some people use the "boat taxi"
organised by the Sunfun Club boat hire business on
the beach in the resort (check first for availablility). |
