Litchfield Tue September 23
2003 http:// Derbyshire 5 We
have been to Corfu 5 times, the first time staying in Nissaki, which was very
pretty, but the remaining 4 times we have been to Aghios Georgios, staying at
the Costas Golden Beach. What a beautiful peaceful place with very friendly
locals. I have recommended this village to many of my friends, the gorgeous
beach, the sumptuous food and the friendly nightlife. The Costas Golden Beach
Hotel is the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in, Dimitri, Dina, Spiros
and Dassia are just like family. We have taken our daughters with us twice,
they adore it for the peace and quiet and feel Spiros and Dassia were more than
friends.

Islands in addition to Corfu . I love Greece and the Greek people Thanks, it
really brightens up my day visiting your web site in my lunch hour. I stayed at
Costas Golden Beach which was friendly, served great food (especially the
Chateau Briand!) it was spotless and very close to the beach. Must go back

Mick Mon August 11 2003 http:// Dereham Norfolk 6 Exactly the same as
Terry. The 4 of us have a marvellous time. We hire a boat, sometime during the
visit, and go to Pallio. The scenery on the way is just stunning. Nowhere else
but San George for me. (Incredible web site to match by the way).

at The Costas Golden Beach Hotel 4 times, and at other apartments twice, I
would not want to spend my holiday anywhere else, the place is just wonderful,
can't wait for 29/08/03 our next visit, 14 days, back to the Hotel. PS. Does
anybody know if The Costas Golden Beach has an e-mail address yet. Cheers,
Terry.

Rob Mon August 04 2003 http:// Uk - Hampshire 10 times We have been to the
same resort 10 times. I have 2 children, aged 9 & 4 and would thoroughly
recommend this resort for friendliness, cleanliness, beach, food. We used to
stay at Costas Golden Beach Hotel, which has received Gold Star Ratings since
1995 (or before), but we are unable to book more than 3 people in a room
(Thomsons Rules). There are plenty of cheap, but very acceptable apartments in
this resort. Highly recommend, would not go anywhere else.

Dennis Wed July 30 2003 http:// Coventry, UK The San Georgio has not
opened this year (2003). Ellen, if you want somewhere just as nice and small I
can recommend Theo's Hotel just up the road from the San Georgio. Like the San
Georgio it is in the Thomsons Small and Friendly brochure. Very friendly and
popular with many returning guests.

Ellen Sat July 26 2003 http:// London Just had to leave a message
to say this is a wonderful site. Beautiful photos - all the memories come
flooding straight back! Spent my first holiday with my boyfriend in Agios
Georgios 4 years ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Stunning scenery and just so
tranquil. We stayed at the San George(?)hotel - small and just perfect. I think
the owner was called Poppy - a lovely lady with a lovely family. Great food to
be had in the restaurant! I'm still thinking of where to go this year and
you've given me food for thought. Thanks!

Paul & Margaret
Blenkin Sat July 05 2003 http:// Suffolk None Many thanks for the excellent
tips in your website which were very helpful. Theos is a very friendly hotel
and Aghios Georgios is a quiet resort(was in May!) for those wanting to get
away from "English" food/pubs which tend to spoil other resorts on Corfu. Can
recommend The Moonlight Bar just down from Theos for good food and cocktails,
served by George. The flowers on Corfu in May are spectacular and so colourful.
As well as visiting the Dionysus Taverna in Afionas, also suggest "The Three
Brothers" a little further back down the road for a meal watching the
spectacular view/sunset over the small islands. Also suggest taking the time to
visit many of the smaller resorts along the north coast. Overall, an excellent
holiday based at Theo's Hotel, and one that we will be repeating.

times in this lovely place. Try Maria's near the little square for lunchtime
snacks, if she is still there.
